Monterey head football coach Judd Thrash was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center Saturday morning and accused of Driving While Intoxicated after a single-vehicle crash, according to public records.
Thrash was arrested near 130th Street and Quaker and was charged with DWI and failure to leave information after damaging a structure. His current bond is set at $2,500.
LISD released a statement to KLBK Sports but won’t have further comments at this time.

Lubbock ISD is aware of an off-campus incident involving Monterey High School football coach Judd Thrash. According to law enforcement, Coach Thrash was arrested following a single-vehicle crash that occurred overnight.
As this is both a personnel matter and an ongoing legal investigation, and out of respect for the privacy of all involved, the district will not be providing further comment at this time.
