A Lubbock doctor, Jeffrey Norman Colvin, 70, was found guilty by a jury of Indecent Assault after he inappropriately touched an employee during an examination for a procedure, according to court documents.
EverythingLubbock.com previously reported Colvin had his medical license was temporarily suspended, and he was later restricted from seeing female patients after his arrest in November of 2023.
Court documents stated the victim was getting an exam when she was inappropriately touched by Colvin. According to court records, Colvin asked the victim if what he was doing “felt good.” The victim told him no. Court records said Colvin even asked to perform additional sexual acts, and the victim told him, “Absolutely not.”
According to court records, another employee was supposed to be present when Colvin did exams on female patients. However, no one else was in the room except for Colvin and the victim. When the victim told other staff members what happened, Colvin confronted one of them and asked if they could forgive him. The employee told Colvin he was asking the wrong person for forgiveness, court records said.
Colvin will be sentenced at a later date.
